DE Ziggy Ansah
Age: 30
Adding Ansah would provide the Bills with excellent depth at the DE position, but that’s a big question mark considering Ansah’s string of shoulder issues. In 2019, he struggled with injuries once again, contributing just 2.5 sacks in 11 games for the Seahawks. Prior to injury, he had 14.5 sacks and an All-Pro nod with the Lions in 2015. With the rotation the Bills run on their defensive line, perhaps playing less snaps could keep Ansah fresher. Plus, he’d be a relatively cheap option and the Bills expressed interest in him in the past.
LB Darron Lee
Age: 25
Want a project? There’s Darron Lee. He was pretty much the defensive LeSean McCoy for the Super Bowl champs. The Chiefs gave Shady and Lee chances, and eventually they had their roles reduced and they were inactive when the team won their title. While he’s had lows, he also had some highs with the Jets. The former first-round pick is a solid coverage linebacker and plays special teams, that could help replace Lorenzo Alexander in that area.
