Ravens QB Lamar Jackson admits Baltimore offense missed opportunities in Week 12 vs. Jaguars

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson talks about how the offense missed opportunities in Week 12 against the Jaguars

The Baltimore Ravens lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars 28-27 after allowing a touchdown and a two-point conversation with less than 20 seconds left in the game. The offense had multiple chances to put the game away early but had to settle for four field goals, including three in the red zone.

Off of missed opportunities alone, the Ravens could have molded the outcome of the game into a much different one. Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson talked about how the team can stop the trend of losing games late during his postgame press conference, saying that they missed opportunities and needing to score more points.

“[We] just have to score more points, try to score more points early, if anything. Try not to miss the opportunities. We missed a few opportunities out there. That’s it.”

Baltimore’s offensive needs to bounce back next Sunday in Week 13 at home against the struggling Denver Broncos. If the offense continues to be unable to capitalize early, the season could go downhill fast in a very important year.
