The Baltimore Ravens drafted outside linebacker David Ojabo in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft. He tore his achilles a few months before the draft, causing his first-round stock to tumble into the second round.

Ojabo returned for the end of his rookie season and had a strip-sack on Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, flashing his potential. When asked about Ojabo’s progress, Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh said that he’s done great and that he’s really excited for the former Michigan star.

“Yes, great question. All those pass rushers, for sure. Odafe [Oweh] and [David] Ojabo – you kind of put them together. But David has done great. He looks great to me. I told him today [that] I’m just really excited to see him when the pads come on [and] see what he can do. Those guys … We’ve definitely been holding those guys back; it’s a pass-rushing technique camp, but we’re staying away from the quarterback – and we will be in training camp, too, but we’ll have one on ones and things like that. I can’t wait to see those guys roll for the games. Preseason games are going to take on a big-time added interest [with] watching those guys rush the passer.”
