If you love watching running backs at the collegiate level, the Big Ten just might be the conference for you.
Two of the finalists from last year’s Doak Walker Award hailed from the Big Ten and one of those backs returns for another season in 2023. Blake Corum returns after missing the Big Ten championship and College Football Playoff semifinal games last year with an injury. He carried the ball just two times against Ohio State in the season finale.
Corum and Donovan Edwards are looking to return to the conference title game once again and get past the first round of the CFP. They aren’t the only dynamic duo in the conference. Ohio State has Miyan Williams and TreVeyon Henderson returning while Penn State has Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton.
