The Los Angeles Rams had to face the Colts, Buccaneers, Cardinals and Seahawks in the first five weeks of the season, by no means an easy stretch to open the year. But after escaping that gauntlet with an impressive 4-1 record, they hit the easy part of their schedule.

After crushing the Giants in Week 6 and beating the winless Lions on Sunday, the Rams will now visit the Texans, who are 1-6. And for the third straight week, they’re heavily favored.

According to Tipico Sportsbook, the Rams are 14.5-point favorites on the road against the Texans. That’s the largest spread of Week 8, one point higher than the Bills over the Dolphins. The over/under is 46.5 points, and the Rams money line sits at -1200, meaning a $1,200 bet would return a profit of $100.

It’s the second week in a row that the Rams have been favored by at least two touchdowns; against the Lions, they were 15.5-point favorites but failed to cover the spread, dropping their record against the spread to 4-3 on the year.

Since 2017, the Rams are now 9-2 when favored by at least 10 points.
