Raiders add veteran WR Albert Wilson

Raiders planning to sign veteran WR Albert Wilson

The Raiders have gotten some really good play from their wide receivers this season as Davante Adams has been excellent. They have even gotten great play from Mack Hollins, who has emerged as the other starting outside receiver.

But the Raiders still lack speed in their wide receiver corps. That is why they made the move to sign veteran receiver Albert Wilson on Friday. That was first reported by Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Wilson spent the early parts of his career with the Chiefs before signing a big contract with the Dolphins. He signed with the Vikings this offseason, but did not make their 53-man roster.

Wilson is a speed receiver who is dynamic after the catch and has a ton of NFL experience. Look for him to compete for the No. 4 receiver snaps behind Adams, Hollins and Hunter Renfrow. He turned 30 in July and has totaled 2,569 yards in his NFL career.
