Raheim Jeter, who just de-committed from WVU, offered by Rutgers football

Rutgers football just offered a class of 2023 quarterback.

Raheim Jeter pulled in an offer from Rutgers football on Saturday shortly after he de-committed from West Virginia

A three-star quarterback from Spartansburg, SC, Jeter is a class of 2023 recruit who is ranked the No. 12 player in South Carolina per 247Sports.

He holds some strong Power Five offers including Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky and Missouri. Last season, he was 53-of-73 for 850 passing yards with six touchdowns and an interception thrown.

Jeter’s de-commitment comes just days after he threw for the West Virginia coaching staff. He tweeted about his Rutgers offer on Saturday evening.

Rutgers has yet to land a quarterback in the class of 2023. Conventional wisdom held that they would not be adding a quarterback in this class.

Last season, Spartansburg went 9-4 and lost to Northwestern in the playoffs.
