Portland will be without big man C Jusuf Nurkic and starting PG Anfernee Simons. The Blazers have failed to cover four straight games and are just 4-6 ATS over their last 10 outings.
They’re 25-37-1 ATS on the season, the second-worst covering record in the NBA. G Brandon Williams and G Josh Hart will likely captain the Portland attack.

Against the spread

The Wolves have been hot lately and have covered four straight games. They defeated the Blazers by 14 and that was with Simons dropping 38 points and 9 triples.
The Wolves should demolish Portland without that production. KAT put up 36 Saturday on 13-for-17 shooting should have the same success against Portland C Drew Eubanks.
The Wolves are 3-0 ATS this season when favored by 10 or more points. Against a Portland team that won’t have much offensive firepower, I’d take the team sitting second in points per game to impose their will.
Over/Under
“LEAN” to the UNDER 232.5 (-107).
Minnesota is more than likely going to be without its second-leading scorer, Edwards.
Portland will also be down its top three-scoring threats with the main scorer listed as active being Hart, who is averaging just 13.9 points per game.
Despite the Wolves ranking second in points per game and 41-24 O/U on the season, I don’t see the Blazers having the offense to help push this total over. The Blazers are 29-32-2 O/U and are 4-5-1 O/U over their last 10 games.
