Playstation Plus version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake will get a free PS5 upgrade on December 22

PS4 to PS5 upgrades are live.

In March of this year, the PS4 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake  was free for anyone with a Playstation Plus subscription. Soon, though, anyone who took advantage of that deal can upgrade to the PS5 version at no extra cost.

On Dec. 22, the PS5 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake  will come as a free upgrade option for subscribers that previously downloaded the game off PS Plus.

Square Enix also said that the PS5-exclusive DLC Episode Intermission will be 25 percent off. So anyone keen on seeing what Yuffie Kisaragi’s introduction into the storyline is like should take advantage of that deal.

Many people were displeased that the PS4 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake  was the only option during March’s PS Plus freebies. So it’s good to see Square Enix and Sony put the far-better port on the service. Check out  December’s other PS Plus free games here.

The Final Fantasy 7 Remake  also came to PC recently  for anyone that missed it on consoles. However, it’s an Epic Games Store exclusive for now.
