Clemson running back Phil Mafah is having the best game of his Clemson career as he continues his beat down on the Notre Dame defense.
The Tigers lead the Fighting Irish 31-16 in the 3rd quarter, with Mafah being a significant reason the Tigers offense is performing at a high level. On their latest drive, the bruising back scored on a 1-yard touchdown run in the red zone, where Clemson’s offense has struggled mightily this season.
So far today, Mafah has had a huge workload and proved that he can do great things with those touches. He has 19 carries for 128 yards, a career-high for yards, and two touchdowns.
It has been a great day for Mafah and the Clemson offense.
