Panthers left tackle Russell Okung will miss his fourth game of the season tomorrow when his team plays the Chiefs.

Panthers left tackle Russell Okung will miss his fourth game of the season tomorrow when his team plays the Chiefs.

Okung was listed as questionable on the team’s final injury report of the week. However, he’s been downgraded to out and won’t travel to Kansas City.

With Okung out yet again, the Panthers will likely utilize a rotation at left tackle. Trent Scott and Greg Little have dominated those snaps so far, with neither really gaining an edge over the other. Coach Matt Rhule has suggested that second-year OL Dennis Daley may also get some reps.

Whoever winds up taking his place in the lineup, the Trai Turner for Russell Okung trade is starting to look like one of Panthers general manager Marty Hurney’s most egregious mistakes of the 2020 offseason, and that’s saying something.

Okung just turned 32 years old last month and is in the last year of his contract.
