With the semester coming to an end on college campuses across the country, it also means goodbyes for players leaving via the transfer portal in winter athletics.
North Carolina has had a very active few weeks with the transfer portal, saying goodbye to six players while welcoming four others. As UNC looks to retool the roster, some players are saying their goodbyes by cleaning out their lockers.
Caleb Love and Puff Johnson posted messages on Tuesday thanking UNC fans as they shared a picture of their locker in the process as a thank-you for the last few years:

Love spent four seasons at North Carolina after committing as a five-star recruit. He was a big part of helping get UNC to the national championship game with his performance over UCLA and then his clutch shot against Duke.
The guard announced he was transferring to Michigan.
As for Johnson, he arrived as a four-star recruit and played three years at North Carolina. While Johnson showed his potential, his career was hindered by injuries. He transferred to Penn State.
