The Green Bay Packers didn’t have wide receivers Geronimo Allison or Ryan Grant at Wednesday’s practice, but Matt LaFleur’s team is relatively healthy just days away from the NFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Wednesday’s injury report listed Allison as out with an illness. Grant missed due to a personal reason.
Allison, who caught a crucial third-down pass during Sunday’s win over the Seattle Seahawks, appears to be the latest victim of an illness that has spread around the Packers locker room for the better part of the last month.
As the Packers have done all season, tight end Jimmy Graham was provided a veteran’s rest day. Everyone else practiced.
That includes right tackle Bryan Bulaga, who missed the win over the Seahawks with an illness, and receiver Allen Lazard, who left the victory with an ankle injury. The Packers could return both players on Sunday against the 49ers.
Outside linebacker Preston Smith, guard Billy Turner and fullback Danny Vitale were also limited.
The Packers will release injury reports on Thursday and Friday before submitting official injury designations on Friday afternoon.
