The Packers won’t have one of their top offensive weapons on Sunday against the Texans.
Running back Aaron Jones is officially inactive for the Packers due to a calf injury.
Jones suffered the injury during Thursday’s practice and was listed as questionable. While the injury is considered mild, the Packers are being cautious with his recovery.
During the Packers’ first five games, Jones produced 550 total yards and seven touchdowns. He will miss a game for the first time since 2018.
The Packers will have Jamaal Williams, rookie A.J. Dillon and Dexter Williams available at running back against the Texans’ last-ranked run defense
