Packers highlight: Xavier McKinney’s interception sets up Josh Jacobs’ go-ahead TD vs. Jaguars

The Packers lead 7-0 over the Jaguars thanks to Xavier McKinney and Josh Jacobs.

The two prized free agent additions for the Green Bay Packers teamed up to give Matt LaFleur’s team a 7-0 lead in the first half of Sunday’s showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars. Xavier McKinney’s interception — his sixth of the season — set up Josh Jacobs’ 3-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter.

The Packers lead 7-0 thanks to the former Giant and former Raider.

After Jordan Love was intercepted in the red zone to end a scoring opportunity, McKinney promptly returned the favor, picking off Trevor Lawrence’s misfire. After a 21-yard pass interference penalty drawn by Romeo Doubs extended the ensuing drive, Jacobs burst through a hole and into the end zone to give the Packers the lead.

McKinney leads the NFL in interceptions. After ending a two-game drought, McKinney now has a career-high six picks in just eight games. Jacobs scored his third touchdown as a Packer. He scored his first career receiving touchdown last week.
