The Oregon Ducks football team has been a staple on top of the US LBM Coaches poll for the second half of the season and to no one’s surprise, the Ducks remain there.
Oregon is the No. 1 in the country after the Ducks handed the previous No. 3 team Penn State a 45-37 loss in the Big Ten Championship Game. Both teams await their playoff seeding and situation. Oregon will be the top seed.
The Nittany Lions just moved down two spots to No. 5 with Georgia (No. 2), Notre Dame (No. 3) and Texas (No. 4) rounding out the Top 5.
The team that made the biggest jump in the poll is Army who moved five spots to No. 18 with Clemson moving up four spots to No. 13. The Tigers claimed a bid into the College Football Playoff after defeating SMU to claim the ACC title.
SMU dropped five spots to No. 12 and UNLV dropped five as both teams lost their conference championships.
