Whether or not it’s a football or basketball school, Ole Miss is certainly a trash-talking school.
After the team’s dramatic win over the Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday, the Ole Miss football Twitter account threw some glorious shade up Lexington’s way over one of the dumber college sports controversies of the year.
If you’ll recall, Kentucky’s basketball coach John Calipari and football coach Mark Stoops engaged in a cold war over whether or not Kentucky was a “football school” or a “basketball school.” It was in part sparked by warring hopes for facilities upgrades for both teams.
After snagging a win over the Wildcats, Ole Miss decided to weigh in on the debate.

Damn. Talk about getting dunked on.
No. 7 Kentucky will likely fall a bit in the polls after losing to No. 14 Ole Miss, and jokes like this won’t help them lick their wounds any easier.
You should check to see if Coach Cal throw a “favorite” this Tweet’s way, and if this joke from Oxford’s finest will reignite the most pointless debate this side of the Mason-Dixon line.
Whether or not it’s a football or basketball school, Kentucky is certainly taking Ls this college game day.
(BTW, Kentucky is totally a basketball school.)
