Oklahoma basketball took their first loss of the season Wednesday night when they were tattooed in Cincinnati by Xavier 99-77.
The Sooners return home looking to bounce back against Florida A&M on Saturday afternoon. The game will be presented locally by Oklahoma via Sooner Sports TV, with a familiar face to many Sooners fans on the call.
Jessica Coody will be the television play-by-play broadcaster for the game set to be aired on FOX Sports Southwest. She is believed to be the first woman to ever serve as the play-by-play announcer for an Oklahoma’s men’s basketball television broadcast.
We're excited to have @JessicaCoody calling the action for Saturday's @SoonerSportsTV broadcast on @FOXSportsSW.

Coody has been around the Oklahoma program for awhile now, serving as the lead reporter for Sooner Sports TV. She is frequently seen on their broadcasts and social media videos presented by the university.
Having been on the call previously for Oklahoma women’s basketball broadcasts, she will now make history on Saturday afternoon calling the men’s game for the first time at the Lloyd Noble Center at 4:00 p.m. CT.
