In the most entertaining game of the season, the Oklahoma City Thunder managed to escape with a road win against the Toronto Raptors, 110-109. The Thunder escaped a late-game collapse by the skin of their teeth as undrafted rookie Justin Champagnie was milliseconds away from a game-winning putback basket that would have given the Raptors a buzzer-beating win.
Instead, things go the other way as the Thunder end up with the win after nearly blowing a 14-point lead with six minutes left.
Canadian natives Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Lu Dort put on a show as the duo combined for 48 points. Overall, these are the type of wins that Thunder fans can stomach as it is led by the young guys and shows great character and resilience that they can weather the storm whenever the opposition has all the momentum and a roaring crowd behind them. This win might have hurt the tanking efforts for the franchise, but this is not the type of win to look back on with regret.
With all that said, let’s take a look at some player grades.
