We’ve got another important matchup on tap for the Ohio State basketball team. The Buckeyes hit the road to take on Michigan State, who seems to be playing much better basketball as of late. The Spartans had issues coming back from a COVID-19 shutdown, but have gotten their legs back and are playing the way you’d expect a Tom Izzo team to play as it approaches March.
OSU is coming off its first loss in seven games against Michigan but has shown that it’s still one whale of a team. These two last matched up on January 31, with the Buckeyes pulling away for a 79-62 victory.
If you are into these sort of things, BetMGM has released its odds for the game in East Lansing for the day of the tip and it has Ohio State as a slight 4.5 favorite over resurgent Michigan State. Perhaps a little closer than you’d expect, though that probably has to do with how Sparty is playing as of late.
