Ohio State football keeps receipts with jaw-dropping postgame scoreboard message

Ohio State football throttled Indiana on Saturday, and it certainly kept the receipts from Curt Cignetti earlier this season.

The Ohio State Buckeyes dismantled the then-undefeated Indiana Hoosiers, who came into the game ranked No. 5 overall. Ohio Stadium was pumped up for the win.

Ohio State, which was a double-digit favorite, throttled Indiana 38-15. It didn’t seem like that was always going to be the case after the Buckeyes went down 7-0 after the first drive of the game.

The Buckeyes pulled away as it got Hoosiers’ quarterback Kurtis Rourke on the ground five times and ended with eight tackles for a loss. Indiana ended with 41 carries for just 83 yards as well, so its defense line stood tall as well.

Ohio State’s defense was the real deal as it forced Rourke to go just 8-of-18 as a passer. Its social media team also had an A+ performance with the scoreboard following the game.

At the signing day news conference, Cignetti told fans to “Google me.” Let’s just say that the Buckeyes social media can keep receipts for quite some time as that was back late in 2023.

“Google It!” they wrote. Ohio State won, and it should have its spot in the Big Ten Championship Game almost locked up. It’ll welcome Michigan to Ohio Stadium next Saturday for its final game of the regular season.
