Ohio State favored to win the Big Ten in 2020 according to BetMGM

BetMGM has released odds of college football teams winning their respective conferences, and Ohio State is a heavy favorite in the Big Ten.

We’re starting to get some early odds trickle out on the upcoming (we hope) college football season. We like to follow our friends at BetMGM, and they’ve already posted some interesting content on Fields and next year’s NFL Draft along with other lines. And now, they’re posting the odds on which college football teams are favored to win their respective conferences.

And since you’re here, we assume you are most interested in where Ohio State fits according to BetMGM’s odds of winning the Big Ten in 2020. Well then, as it turns out, the Buckeyes are a pretty big favorite.

According to the popular sportsbook, OSU is expected to be the class of the league at odds of -250. The next closest team is Michigan (sideways glance) at +550, followed by Wisconsin and Penn State at +900. From there, it’s a huge drop to Nebraska at +2000 and on down.

You can see the rest of the odds by going straight to BetMGM’s college football section of the website.

The fact that Ohio State is so far out in front will come as little surprise to anyone. It has now won three-straight Big Ten titles and has it rolling. Justin Fields is back behind a veteran offensive line and explosive talent on the outside. The defense may not be as good as last year, but there is talented guys ready to be the next man up.

If everything starts on time — and there are starting to be some encouraging signs — it could be one whale of a season again for Ryan Day and Ohio State.
