Quick Facts:

  • Notre Dame went 9-0-1 with the only blemish coming at USC in the final week, a 14-14 tie
  • Michigan’s win over No. 3 Northwestern jumped the Wolverines over Notre Dame in the AP Poll, even after Notre Dame rolled Nebraska 44-13 in Lincoln.
  • Notre Dame had just one win over a ranked opponent, a 12-7 win over Northwestern in November.
