No. 2 Stanford defeats Lady Vols with 15 lead changes, seven ties.

The Lady Vols (7-6) suffered a road loss to No. 2 Stanford (11-1), 77-70, Sunday at Maples Arena in Palo Alto, California.

Tennessee led, 58-50, in the third quarter when Cameron Brink converted a 3-point attempt for Stanford as time expired.

Stanford out-scored the Lady Vols, 24-12, during the final 10 minutes of the context.

Brink recorded 21 points, 17 rebounds and six blocks.

Jordan Horston recorded 19 points and 10 rebounds for Tennessee.

Rickea Jackson totaled 14 points for the Lady Vols. Sara Puckett finished with 11 points, all in the first half, for the Lady Vols.

The Lady Vols will next play Dec. 27 against Wofford. Tipoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. EST (SECN+).
