Nick Chubb suffers foot injury against Chiefs; leaves game

Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb suffered a foot injury as the Browns battled the Kansas City Chiefs.

Cleveland Browns star running back Nick Chubb was injured during the game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Nick Chubb suffered a foot injury during the third quarter. Chubb wasn’t contacted during the injury, and limped off the field after a bad step.

Under his own power, Chubb walked into the locker room with medical trainers. The team will continue to evaluate him.

Chubb had an uncharacteristically poor game against the Chiefs. The running back moved the ball well on the ground. Chubb had 41 yards on nine carries before the injury.

However, Chubb fumbled the ball as it was punched out on a nine-yard run. The running back had a pass attempt ripped from his hands by the Chiefs. The interception won’t show up in his stat column, but it was his fault.

The Browns have suffered a rash of enemies against the Kansas City Chiefs. The team had a strong scare when defensive end Myles Garrett suffered an eye injury.  The Browns must end the game healthy. The team is currently losing to the Chiefs 21-7 in the third quarter.
