Is Deshaun Watson worth a 2020 NFL MVP bet?

Watson has the fourth-best odds to win the 2020 NFL MVP, tied with Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers. But with the Texans trading away DeAndre Hopkins at the start of free agency, it’s going to be a lot more difficult for him to win this award.

In order for Watson to take home the MVP award, he would likely need to surpass 40 or more touchdowns and get his team to the playoffs. That has just become a lot more difficult without Hopkins on the roster. As a 16-1 underdog, avoid betting on Watson in favor of a quarterback with more talent around him.
