The buzz around the NBA Tuesday night and Wednesday morning centered around No. 2 Chet Holmgren going off in his summer league debut.
In an Oklahoma City Thunder blowout win, Holmgren finished with 23 points on 7-of-9 shooting that included going 4-of-6 shooting from outside while also adding seven rebounds, four assists and a summer-league-record six blocks.
Holmgren’s game was so impressive, that even Kevin Durant had to show some love on Twitter.
I see u cookin 7. First day on the job was a success, love the kicks @ChetHolmgren https://t.co/sQrgDpPCU0

Durant spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Thunder, where he won his sole MVP award in 2014.
To see that Durant — one of the greatest 15 players ever — compliment your game must be pretty special for Holmgren.
