Myles Garrett held out of practice as Browns are ‘just being cautious’

Garrett sat out Wednesday’s practice for precautionary reasons

Myles Garrett did not practice on Wednesday. Before your stress eat a small animal, take heed of Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski and his explanation for why Garrett sat out the session.

“Just being cautious,” Stefanski said in his press conference Wednesday. “I’d expect that [Garrett returns Thursday], but we’ll gather more information and know more later in the week.”

Garrett was listed as missing the practice with an ankle injury. After playing 70 snaps on Sunday, it’s understandable Garrett has some need for rest and rehab in advance of Sunday’s Week 8 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Browns will have another injury update on Thursday. There is little reason to worry about Garrett unless he’s also held out of that next session.
