While a large number of top prospects in the 2021 NFL draft class meet in Indianapolis this week for medical checks, a number of Notre Dame prospects won’t be among them after testing positive for COVID-19.
Fighting Irish offensive tackle Liam Eichenberg, defensive end Ade Ogundeji and offensive lineman Aaron Banks have all tested positive and will miss this week’s medical checks, per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport also says the plan is to bring these players back in a couple of weeks for their checks, which is still plenty ahead of the draft at the end of the month.
