Many Michigan football fans couldn’t go to bed — someone was hilariously wrong on the internet.
While we don’t often post random, anonymous social media users who aren’t in the media, considering how much clapback there was from not only fans of the maize and blue, but also media types, we had to discuss this one.
As one Michigan football fan posted: there’s weirdly little hype in the NFL draft for former running back Blake Corum, who was a torn meniscus away from being the likely Heisman Trophy winner in 2022. While he wasn’t quite as dominant in 2023, he came on strong later in the season, and propelled the Wolverines to victory against Ohio State, against Alabama in the Rose Bowl, and against Washington in the national championship game — all with timely, late touchdowns (the Rose Bowl one was in overtime).
But one college football fan really stepped in it when he declared, for all the public to see, that Corum goes down easily and can’t break tackles.
Dude literally goes down the second he gets touched and doesn’t make anyone miss a tackle.
I’m good on the “dominant” stuff being completely attributed to him.

Excuse me? Has he ever watched Corum play? Because ‘doesn’t make anyone miss a tackle’ happened literally in the video posted above — and has happened quite a lot over the past three years.
So why would we post this? Well, because, as we said, a ton of fans — and media — took time to refute this. Like we said, someone was wrong on the internet.
Here are some of the best responses.
