During media availability on Tuesday, Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault provided an update on Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s status.
Gilgeous-Alexander will miss the next two preseason games, and the team is expected to announce an update on him in the next couple of days.
It has been almost two weeks since the Thunder announced Gilgeous-Alexander suffered an MCL sprain, so it’s almost time for the team to provide another update.
The Thunder are in Tulsa preparing to play their annual preseason game at the BOK Center on Wednesday against the Dallas Mavericks.
The regular season is set to begin in roughly two weeks on Oct. 19 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The next update the Thunder give on Gilgeous-Alexander should essentially confirm whether or not he plays that game.
