Lydia Ko x Ecco Golf new Biom G5

The Biom G5 will be part of Ecco’s Autumn/Winter 2022 collection.

LPGA player and longtime Ecco Golf ambassador, Lydia Ko helped design the brand’s new Biom G5 golf shoe. The Biom G5 will be available on Oct. 1 as a part of Ecco’s Autumn/Winter 2022 collection.

The shoe is inspired by her South Korean and New Zealand roots. Ko has added hibiscus flowers and silver ferns to the shoe to pay homage to her heritage.

The star athlete has added her signature and logo to the design of the shoe to put a stamp on her successful career.

“I’m extremely excited to join forces with Ecco Golf to create my own unique take on the brand-new Biom G5 shoes,” Ko said. “Ecco Golf is renowned for raising the bar for golf shoe design, and it’s fantastic that I have had the chance to stamp my personality on this new style.

The Biom G5 shoes feature their new Zarma-Tour spikes, which are a form of hybrid grooves for superior traction and stability.

These shoes are completely waterproof and use updated technology that allows the foot to sit comfortably and provides low-to-the-ground support.

Made with Ecco performance leather and their signature Fluidform technology to provide flexibility and comfort as you swing. Available in multiple colorways and laced or BOA option.

“The features we have added to the Biom G5 are very close to my heart, and it’s going to be really cool walking the golf course week-in-week-out with the silver ferns and hibiscus flowers on my feet. Hopefully I’ll be wearing them to lift plenty more trophies in the future.”
