The Los Angeles Angels (68-77) and Seattle Mariners (79-65) play the 2nd of a 3-game set at T-Mobile Park Tuesday. First pitch is at 9:40 p.m. ET. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the Angels vs. Mariners odds and make our expert MLB picks and predictions for the best bets.
Season series: Mariners lead 6-5
The Angels stunned the Mariners 8-5 in 11 innings Monday. The game was tied at 3 through 9 innings, each team scored twice in the 10th and the Halos took control in the 11th. Los Angeles has won 3 in a row but is still 12 games out of an AL Wild Card spot in this tumultuous season.
The Mariners are 2 1/2 games behind Houston in the AL West but also slipped a half-game behind the Texas Rangers for the final AL Wild Card spot. Seattle has lost 4 in a row and is just 3-7 over the last 10. The M’s are 24-13 against the AL West and 19-15 against lefties.

Angels at Mariners picks and predictions
Prediction
Mariners 6, Angels 3
Moneyline
The Mariners should treat this game as a must-win as they are fading fast in the playoff hunt. However, there’s no chance we’re throwing down -210 on them.
However, there prop bet I would consider in its place. Sandoval has 25 walks in his last 7 starts, and he has walked 3 or more in 6 of his last 7. I’ll take a chance on PATRICK SANDOVAL OVER 2.5 WALKS (+115).
Run line/Against the spread
The Angels have been kept to 3 runs or fewer in 6 of 10 games and Woo has been pretty good against them in his 2 starts. There is some risk in going with the RL as 4 of the last 10 games between the teams have been decided by a single run, but Seattle should kick it into desperation mode and I’ll take the even-money MARINERS -1.5 (+100).
Over/Under
Sandoval has allowed 11 runs (9 earned) in his last 2 starts as fatigue may be setting in. The Mariners are 7-2-1 O/U over the last 10, and the Angels are 5-4-1. The Over is also 5-4-1 in the last 10 meetings and 2-1 in Seattle.
Take the OVER 7.5 (-115).
