Tennessee announced 2023 prospect Logan Taylor committed to the Vols on Friday.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound center is Briarcrest Christian School in Eads, Tennessee.
Taylor also played linebacker for Briarcrest football.
The 2022 campaign was the first for Tennessee under head coach Scott Tungay.
Tennessee won the 2021 national championship under head coach Marty Bradley. Bradley served as the Vols’ rugby head coach from 2011-21 and as Tennessee’s assistant coach from 1996-2010 under head coach Butch Robertson.
Bradley is serving as Tennessee’s director of rugby.
The University of Tennessee has fielded a rugby team since 1970.
