It’s still a lengthy list, but Thursday’s practice injury report from the Detroit Lions looks a little more positive than the previous day.
Five Lions players who did not practice due to injury on Wednesday returned to field for Thursday’s session. All were in a limited capacity, but it’s still a progressive development on the injury front.
Those who returned in limited participation:
- LB Chris Board
- TE T.J. Hockenson
- CB Bobby Price
- C Frank Ragnow
- WR Josh Reynolds
Five others who missed Wednesday’s practice also sat out on Thursday.
- DL John Cominsky
- LG Jonah Jackson
- K Austin Seibert
- WR Amon-Ra St. Brown
- RB D’Andre Swift
Cominsky is still recovering from wrist surgery last week, while Jackson has missed the last two games with a bad finger injury. Seibert, Swift and St. Brown all suffered injuries in Sunday’s loss to the Vikings.
There was one addition to the did not participate list. WR DJ Chark did not practice after being limited on Wednesday.
The final injury report and game designation come out after Friday’s practice.
