Tennessee was picked No. 1 in the Southeastern Conference preseason coaches poll.
The Lady Vols totaled 137 points and received six first-place votes.
Georgia was picked to finish second, LSU in third place, followed by Arkansas and Auburn.
Georgia received 136 points and also had six first-place votes.
Tennessee won both the SEC regular-season title and the SEC Tournament championship in 2023, accomplishing the feat for the first time in school history. Tennessee also recorded its first 50-win season and advanced to the College World Series.
The Lady Vols return 17 student-athletes, including seven of nine starters, in 2024.
Tennessee begins its 2024 season at UT Arlington on Feb. 8.
