The Lady Vols defeat Chattanooga, 69-39.

Tennessee (5-5) defeated Chattanooga (6-5), 69-39, Tuesday at Thompson-Boling Arena.

The Lady Vols won decisively despite being without Tamari Key, Jasmine Franklin and Rickea Jackson.

Key did not play due to an undisclosed medical reason. Franklin remains in concussion protocol and Jackson is out indefinitely due to a coach’s decision.

Tennessee led, 19-8, in the first quarter and, 39-15, at halftime.

Jordan Horston scored 14 points to lead the Lady Vols.

Jillian Hollingshead, who missed Sunday’s game against Virginia Tech, totaled nine points and five rebounds, while Sara Puckett recorded eight points and four assists.

Marta Suárez and Karoline Striplin added seven points each. Jordan Walker, Kayla Wynn and Tess Darby finished with five points apiece.
