Kyler Murray has been working out at team facility in Tempe

His presence at the team facility before the offseason program even begins does not suggest there is an imminent holdout.

J.J. Watt wants everyone to know that things are not that bad between the Arizona Cardinals and quarterback Kyler Murray. While the offseason has been marred so far with talk of a conflict about a potential contract extension and questions about Murray’s maturity and future with the team, some have believed that Murray would hold out without a new contract.

However, he himself said that he was focusing on football and getting better. His actions match that.

Would a player intending on holding out be at the team facility working out before the offseason program begins?

Probably not.

That is what Watt showed in a tweet. He showed he was in the team facility with Murray, and even strength and conditioning coach Buddy Morris was caught on video.

Watt’s “But, but, but, but…” was a bit of a troll on fans who thought Murray would not show up.

While we all crave a little drama, it appears that perhaps come of this might have been either fabricated or overdone.
