Klay Thompson guarantees he’s going to bounce back this season for the Warriors

Golden State Warriors star Kaly Thompson guaranteed that he’s going to have a bounce-back season on his Instagram Live this week after missing the last two full seasons with injury.

It’s not easy to replace someone who can drop 60 points on 11 dribbles in a game. It’s impossible, really.

The Golden State Warriors have been missing that kind of production since Game 6 of the 2019 Finals when star shooting guard Klay Thompson went down an ACL tear. He then ruptured his Achilles tendon while on the comeback trail.

He’s on track to return this season and when he does, he’s guaranteeing a bounce back, he said on his Instagram Live this week.
“I’m balling out this season,” Thompson said, according to ESPN. “By the grace of God I will be bailing. Injuries are no fun, but it’s a part of sports.”

Thompson is a 41.9% three-point shooter on seven attempts per game in his career, averaging just under 20 points per game. He has been named to the all-star team in each of the last five seasons he has played in from 2014-15 to 2018-19.
