Kickoff time, broadcast information released for Oklahoma vs. No. 17 Kansas Jayhawks

Broadcast information and kickoff time released for the Oklahoma Sooners matchup with the Kansas Jayhawks.

In two weeks, the Oklahoma Sooners will take on the No. 17 Kansas Jayhawks at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium at 11 a.m. CT on homecoming weekend, October 15.

After losing out on so many primetime games in the past half-decade, the Sooners are perhaps the reason this game has been given the early kickoff. After being the Big 12 punching bag for so long, the Jayhawks have flown to a 5-0 start on the season led by Heisman-hopeful QB Jalon Daniels.

Meanwhile, the Sooners are in wounded animal mode. Reeling after back-to-back conference losses, the Sooners’ season is on life support just five games into the season.

It won’t be getting any easier for the Sooners any time soon. Before coming home to play Kansas, the Texas Longhorns and a healthy Quinn Ewers await in the Red River Showdown at the Cotton Bowl.

While Brent Venables experiences his first Red River game as a head coach, the Kansas Jayhawks will be hosting ESPN’s College Gameday for the very first time. Theyโ€™ll take on the team that just destroyed Oklahoma, the TCU Horned Frogs.

Ideally, the Horned Frogs would knock the Jayhawks down a peg or to before they make the trip across the border to play the Sooners in Norman.

Before the season, Sooners fans were thankful to get Baylor and Oklahoma State at home. Now, the Sooners are very lucky to be getting the Jayhawks at home after last year’s struggles in Lawrence. This game is far from the gimme itโ€™s been in years past. The Jayhawks look like a legit threat to contend for the Big 12 title.
