A day after hearing that Kentucky basketball has made contact with 2025 forward Tounde Yessoufou, another new name has been added to the list of recruits the staff has contacted. Guard Davion Hannah has heard from the Wildcats staff.
Hannah is one of the top guards in the 2025 recruiting class, and one of the top 20 players overall. The 6’5″ combo guard is rated four stars by 247sports.
He already has a number of offers, including ones from Michigan State and the Auburn Tigers. Hannah hasn’t taken any visits yet, but he will do so soon, and Kentucky will certainly try to set one up.
It’s early in the process for the Wildcats, who have only just established contact. Hannah told On3’s Jamie Shaw he was contacted by assistant coach Cody Fueger.
Coach Fueger, the BYU coach who just went to Kentucky, has been in contact with me.
Like all of the 2025 recruits that Kentucky has contacted thus far, decisions are likely a long way off. A lot of things can, and will, change in the meantime, but it’s encouraging for fans to see new coach Mark Pope going after top ranked players.
