LOS ANGELES — Former University of Tennessee basketball player Josh Richardson missed another game due to injury Tuesday night.
Richardson, who has missed several games this season, his first with the Philadelphia 76ers, due to various injuries. He was acquired in a 2019 Draft Day trade last summer after spending the first years of his career with the Miami Heat.
He was one of three starters to miss the Sixters’ 120-107 loss to the Lakers, the top team in the Western Conference.
Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid also missed the game for Philadelphia, which has been abysmal on the road this season.
Richardson suffered a concussion in Philadelphia’s 136-130 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday when he collided with teammate Alec Burks.
The Sixers continue their trip to the Golden State as they play Sacramento Thursday night.
