Before Jose Alvarado became known as “Grand Theft Alvarado” in the NBA for his signature steal, he was a high school star at Christ the King.
After Alvarado earned Rising Stars MVP honors at All-Star Weekend, Christ the King retired his jersey while the Pelicans guard was in town.
