Jets’ Mike White took trip to hospital after facing the Bills

#Jets’ Mike White took trip to hospital after facing the #Bills:

The Buffalo Bills put a beating on the New York Jets in Week 14.

And specifically Mike White.

The Bills (10-3) sacked White three times in the 20-12 win. However, he was hit a total of eight times and some of those shots were pretty hard. One from Buffalo’s Matt Milano stands out the most.

The beating White took caused him to leave the game twice. Credit to him, though. White returned to action both times.

However, the Jets (7-6) wanted to be safe. Following the contest, White was spotted by reporters leaving Highmark Stadium in an ambulance.

According to Jets Wire, New York head coach Robert Saleh said the decision was simply precautionary and thankfully everything checked out. White had his ribs looked at and he was healthy enough to even fly back home with the rest of his teammates.

Whether or not Saleh had heard that White was fine or not by the time he spoke to the media following the game is unclear. However, he was confident enough in White’s health to say he will “for sure” start in the Jets’ next game versus the Detroit Lions in Week 15.

While White might be playing for a bitter AFC East rival, the Bills should and do have a lot of respect for his toughness he displayed on Sunday. Buffalo should be doing the same.
