LeBron James has heard it from all corners of the Internet for the way he’s celebrated when his son Bronny dunked in an AAU game to seal a championship for his team (although thank goodness there were athletes and other big names who defended him).
Now, the Los Angeles Lakers star is hearing it from the Utah Jazz booth.
Late in the Lakers’ 121-96 win over the Jazz, a shoeless James — who got away with a blatant travel earlier in the night — took a few steps away from the bench to effusively celebrate a great block by Kyle Kuzma.
I can’t tell whether it was Craig Bolerjack or Matt Harpring who said it, but one of them remarked, “That’s some disrespect right there. Please. … This isn’t playground ball.”

By the way, wondering why James had no shoes on? He had signed them and given them away to young fans. So the fact that he had no shoes on wasn’t disrespectful:

Look, James isn’t playing the water bottle flipping game during a Knicks blowout. He’s cheering on a teammate, and shoeless after doing a good deed. No harm, no foul here.
