James Harden believes Sixers give him best shot at winning a title

James Harden believes this current Philadelphia 76ers team is his best shot at winning a championship.

When one looks at Philadelphia 76ers star James Harden’s career, one can see he has done everything a player can possibly accomplish in the NBA. He has won scoring titles. He has set records. He has been named an All-Star numerous times. He also has an MVP award under his belt.

The only thing missing from his resume is a championship.

He has come close. The 2018 Houston Rockets led by Harden were one win away from the finals, and the 2021 Brooklyn Nets might have gotten there had Kevin Durant’s shoe size been a half foot smaller. But the fact is he has come up short.

Now with the Sixers and with an elite big man in Joel Embiid, Harden is looking to finally win that elusive title. He told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne that Philadelphia is his best chance.

That doesn’t mean that the road to a title will be easy. The Sixers have to go through the Boston Celtics and the Milwaukee Bucks just to get to the finals, but Harden and Co. are playing some excellent basketball at the moment. They will be looking to build to move toward the playoffs.
