A featherweight matchup is the latest addition to UFC Fight Night on Jan. 16, as [autotag]Jacob Kilburn[/autotag] will face [autotag]Austin Lingo[/autotag].
Two people with knowledge of the situation informed MMA Junkie of the booking but asked to remain anonymous since the UFC has yet to make an official announcement.
Kilburn (8-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC), a Dana White’s Contender Series alum, saw his two-fight winning streak snapped at the hands of Billy Quarantillo in his promotional debut last December at UFC on ESPN 7.
Lingo (7-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) will also be in search of his first UFC win after suffering a unanimous decision loss to Youssef Zalal at UFC 247 in February, his first career loss.
With the addition, the UFC’s Jan. 16 lineup, for which a venue has not yet been named, now includes:
- Brian Kelleher vs. Ricky Simon
- Carlos Felipe vs. Justin Tafa
- Tim Elliott vs. Jordan Espinosa
- Jacob Kilburn vs. Austin Lingo
