The Colorado Buffaloes Spring Game is a week away, but the transfer portal continues to churn at a rapid rate. This time, it is another former Jackson State player, linebacker Jurriente Davis. It turns out that Davis is set for a visit to Boulder, per Chris Hummer of 247Sports.
“…the 6-foot-1, 225-pound Davis is attracting interest from high-major schools. He’s already visited Kentucky. He’s soon set to see Texas A&M. He’ll also take visits to UCF and Colorado.”
Davis’ journey began at Hutchinson Community College before he went to Middle Tennessee and then ended up at Jackson Stae, and now he is eyeing a move to a Power Five program.
The coaching staff at Colorado, and Andre’ Hart, in particular, is a big reason why he has an interest.
“I love the coaches, especially (Andre’ Hart), that’s my dog,” Davis told 247Sports. “But we’re going to see. There’s nothing bad about them. I just want to see how it looks.”
The Buffs are gearing up for the spring game and handing out numbers, but they are still active in the transfer portal in hopes of retooling a roster that went 1-11 a season ago.
