Ja Morant recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 assists to lead the Memphis Grizzlies to a 118-111 win over the Miami Heat on Monday night for their 10th win of the season.
The Grizzlies jumped on the Heat early, leading by as many as 17 points in the second quarter. Morant recorded seven points and dished out nine of his 10 assists in the first half as the Grizzlies led 73-58 at the intermission.
Led by Jimmy Butler, the Heat eventually took a one-point lead with just under six minutes to go in the fourth quarter as the four-time NBA All-Star scored 11 of his 25 points in the period.
After the Heat went ahead, Morant helped kick off an 11-0 run by the Grizzlies to re-take the lead and hold on for the win. The second overall pick finished 9-of-14 from the field, including 2-of-4 from 3-point range.

Tyler Herro scored 22 points and five rebounds for the Heat while Kendrick Nunn added 18 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the field as Miami has now lost two out of their last three games.
Following the win on Monday night, the Grizzlies improved to 4-1 over their last five games with their lone loss in that span coming against the Milwaukee Bucks as Morant sat for injury maintenance.
