Recent recruiting projections show the Nebraska Cornhuskers missing out on one of their top remaining recruiting targets in the class of 2024. Wide receiver Gatlin Bair will announce his commitment on August 5th at 5:00 PM MT.

Bair is the No. 1 recruit in the state of Idaho and the highest-ranked recruit in that state’s history. Last season as a Junior, Bair caught 73 passes for 1,073 yards and 18 touchdowns for Burley High School.

The receiver is currently projected to select Michigan ahead of Nebraska, TCU, Boise State and Oregon. He’s also been making headlines on the track as well.

He has been clocked at 10.15 in the 100-meter dash, good for the second-fastest high school time in the country. Wherever the Bair signs, it will be a couple of years before he takes the field. Instead, he will take a two-year mission trip following his high school graduation.
